Abstract:
Vapear o usar cigarrillos electrónicos está ampliamente aceptado como una opción para las personas que ya están fumando. Esta investigación plantea preguntas sobre el papel que los cigarrillos electrónicos pueden desempeñar en la progresión que los adolescentes hacen hasta fumar su primer cigarrillo e identificó una "fuerte asociación" entre el uso de cigarrillos electrónicos y la mayor probabilidad de fumar un cigarrillo en el año.
